FSPI has been engaged in the organization of single-purpose entities that own real estate and the private placement of equity in those entities and provides investor services to them. We refer to these entities, which are organized as corporations and operated in a manner intended to qualify as REITs, as Sponsored REITs. In December 2011 we announed we would no longer sponsor the syndication of shares of preferred stock in newly-formed Sponsored REITs. However, FSPI's professional investor services team will continue to provide investor services, including the distribution of quarterly dividend payments, communications, tax information and account maintenance, to the preferred stockholders in each of the existing Sponsored REITs. In addition, FSPI maintains the capability to sponsor the syndication of any additional shares of preferred stock in existing Sponsored REITs.
